Lervik Høl/ Lervik Pool
Lervik Pool, is one of Norway´s most secure places to experience a salmon catch. This is the place to learn fly fishing or to further develop your skills in fishing. With a spacious area and competent guidance from our personell, the chances are high for getting salmon on your first throw. Lervik pool is not dependening on the size of the river, and people can come and fish at any time. A mix of high quality fishing equipment that can be rented, and competent guides, the chances for a optimal nature and fish experience is increased. The fishing happens on land and boat. You can use a fly or regular fish bait.
Lower Bank is a quieter part that is dependent on a medium or large river for optimal fishing conditions. Here you can also fish from a boat or regular fishing on land.
The average salmon in a normal season is 3,5 kg. It is mostly large salmon early in the season, but also in July and August. The largest salmon catch to date is 24,9 kg.
The management of the salmon tribe has the main focus during the fishing. It is a set quota on how much large and middle sized salmon that can be euthanized. Most of the salmon is therefore released back in the river after a catch. The fishing is guided by qualified personell, and all fishing under the Os waterfalls/ Osfossen is accompanied by a guide. Under the Os waterfalls/ Osfossen lies a nature/ bird reserve with a rich fauna and birdlife.
